Family Planning

Dr Bridger runs a dedicated Family Planning Clinic on Monday afternoons between 1.30 and 3.00pm where she can undertake a range of family planning services including:

    • coil fitting

    • pill checks

    • depo-provera injections (contraceptive injection)

    • general family planning advice

    • implant (Dr G Lin & Dr Moone)

For patients who cannot attend the regular clinic, coil fittings can be arranged at alternative times following discussion with Dr Bridger.

Initial contraceptive advice must be given by a GP in the standard clinics, however follow up pill checks are carried out by the practice nurses who can also see patients for follow up depo-provera injections.

In addition, vasectomies can be performed here at Probus Surgical Centre after appropriate discussion with your GP.
